Tried to upload 20 second clip but una/le to to do “it exceeds the limit”. how do I manage it? Many thanks.

You can upload video to 'Media' , (button on dark blue toolbar). then click on 'Add Media'

I find it easier to upload to Youtube or any other video hosting site, then post the url link

That answers my question I tried to up load a video of the Lincoln Baconeers when I got the same response I will try again cheers

Scot can you talk me though each step have tried but still no joy, me and technology don’t see eye to eye

Try this,

Go to "Media" and the "Add Media"

Then click "an Album" and select or create an album,

Then "upload a video" and then "upload video" you will then be asked to select your video so make sure you know where it is on your computer.

Then if you want to post your clip select the "Camera ICON" that says "Media gallery embed" and then click on your uploaded Media/video clip.

I had to post the one above just to test my memory/theory.

Good luck

Thanks for all the helpful answers and the walk through by Martin. I tried several times but seem to be going in circles and get the same error message every time.

Thanks for the explanation Martin but like Stewart J getting the same message. Keep saying file too big but looking through the site there are many posts longer. The video I took at Lincoln this year shows the Sunday morning dancing bacon cooks
May try the the other suggestion from Parrot Face
Safe Travels everyone

Sorry. The only reliable way of getting video on the forum is to upload it to youtube and then post the URL here. Next year we will have the ability to upload video direct to a post. I know Facebook makes it look easy. but without their resources, money and tech it isn't and we are looking at ways to get them seamlessly hosted elsewhere as Funsters could fill our server hard disks in a weekend.
