Hi all you tech people This might be a silly question but Can anyone tell me which battery setting to use on victron B-B charger when setting up which batteries I have It give you settings AGM / Lithium / Victron typ batteries then it goes on to ( PZS 1 PZS 2 PZS3 these last three settings I do not understand ) I have got 2 Newmax XDT30MF Lead/wet Batteries so not sure Thanks in anticipation

Are you sure these are the only settings available? Does the screen scroll up and down to show more? There should be options for standard lead-acid and gel at least. PzS are traction batteries found in forklift trucks - big 2-volt cells that you strap together to make 12V, 24V etc.

Those are called presets for flooded deep cycle lead acid. The values of those presets are given in the manual. Any charger manual has them. Have you read it?

Hi Raul thanks for that I will have a look at manual again not seen them my batteries are deep cycle one's

I use start voltage 14.0
shutdown say 13.10

also on a Rapido 2007 you wil have a "standard" alternator if it hasnt been changed.

As for float and bulk settings your battery manufacturer will tell you the best but will probably be
Float 13.6
Bulk 14.4

Input voltage lockout 12.5
restart 12.8

Yes that is true It as a standard Alternater which we had changed in spain 18month ago Is there a reason you mentioned this and do I have to do anything about the existing on-board charger thanks

No. in my opinion it is better with the standard alternator.

Existing on board charger will only work when you are on Electric hook up so no need to change that. You can of course turn it off if you feel you have enough charge but with lead acid it is best to just leave it on.
