I have a victron BMV 600s installed and want to swap to a BMV 712 smart Bluetooth.

Does anyone know if it’s a straight swop.? ie: lead just stops over...

Can’t really answer your question, but is it an option to fit a bluetooth module to the BMV600?

The connection to the 712 is just a single ‘telephone’ style plug, btw.

As an additional, I don't have a monitor at all, but connected the Bluetooth Dongle to the Solar Controller and the Victron app gives you most of the info you need. It doesn't give Amp flow though.

I have a suspicion that the bluetooth dongle came in with the 700 series but worth checking the manual for the 600.

I added the dongle to my 700 and I am very pleased with the results. I moved the monitor, which is not the prettiest gauge, from the cabin to the battery locker and now just use the phone app.

I have a 600 and the Bluetooth dongle will not fit.
