HI Mark and welcome to the site, there are a number of Dethleff owners here. Who can give you detailed answers but fuel consumption depends on loading, weather, road conditions and the way you drive. You having the greatest influence. So fill with fuel, drive a 1000 miles then do a final topup and work itt out. Good luck and enjoy the site.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Hi Mark Welcome to MH Fun

Don't know that particular model, but as a rule most motorhomes get 20/30mpg depending on model with over cab bed less than low profile, don't forget you are almost driving a brick shape through the air.

Parking can be a problem, as a rule we tend to use park and ride if available, or failing that most supermarkets have large car parks and are often free for 2/3hours. Car parks can sometimes be used but depends on local councils etc.
Most parking is often easier on outskirts of large and popular towns, but you will soon get the hang of it, its just a case of getting to think like a motorhomer.

Hope you enjoy your new found hobby, don't be afraid of asking questions there is a lot of knowledge available on this forum so use it.

Now a year - cant believe it!
Welcome to the site. Id say its a bit late to be asking about fuel consumption given the van is already sat on your drive, so to speak.:roflmto: Have a run out in it with some 'weight' inside, and itll give you an idea of how many petrol garages you can safely pass on a trip! ::bigsmile:

Snappppppp!!

Would you believe it....you bought a T63 the same day as us!

Over the last 9mths I have trawled the internet about this van and have found out much info.......

Would did you purchase from? New or used?

I guess if new it is a Ford Chassis as the Fiat version does not seem to be in UK/ RHD yet. The sole reason Dethleffs switched to Fiat was that Ford hiked the prices. The ford T63 has 300Kgs more payload than the same fiat and is a more economical motor

About MPG's, the van will always return +30 and if light and driven sensible. can reach upto 35!!!!!!

On paper the stats/ layout tick all the boxes so lets hope it lives upto expectation.

We pick ours up during September and ofcourse i will write a full blown review then.

Cheers
MM

PS Good choice of MH - Lets hope!
