Hi, Can anyone advise camp sites close to Venice Italy for athree day stopover. We would like to explore the city on our trip to Croatia.

I would go for somewhere a bit closer for a 3 day stay like http://www.campingfusina.com/en/ and there's an sosta actually on the island.

On the attached link you will find dozens of sites. Massive sites. Grab a boat at Punto Sabbioni for a splendid arrival in Venice.

The whole southern coast in one glorious beach if you want to relax.

We stayed here, could not fault it.
