Hello, we are planning to travel along the Italian peninsula on the Adriatic side in May. Venice will be busy, but never having been there before we do want to go. Has anyone used the stopping places on the Lido de Jesolo please? Recommendations would be good. We then plan to go down the Le Marche coast and perhaps see some of the Abruzzo region. Equally recommendations there would be welcome.

We liked camping Venice Village in the Maestro area for facilities and ease of access to Venice. Lidl within walking distance should you need it.

We stayed here last year, no frills so not expensive, no issues with driving in as it’s the other side of the water.
A few minutes walk to the water taxi that takes you into Venice in less than 10min
Voucher from the site gives you cheap travel that I think was a few € each.
There is a boating club next door if you fancy a drink of about 15-20 min walk to a few restaurants.

Fusina camping, waterside views of Venice, 5 min walk to boat taxis.
Fantastic spacious pitches.

The view of Venice from our waterside pitch.
