Vehicle Battery Charging (1 Viewer)

Recently bought our first motorhome. A Rollerteam Autoroller 600G. Transit based.
The dealer told us that the accomodation battery charges whenever the mains lead is connected. Does it also charge the vehicle battery.

If it does not, could an Optimate Battery Charger/Conditioner be used, pluged into one of the internal electric sockets to maintain the battery if the motorhome is not used for some time. They work very well for motorcycles.

Any advice or suggestions greatfully accepted.

you may want to consider a 'Battery Master'

little box of tricks that will divert any surplus charge from your leisure battery to your engine battery when on hookup or solar panel.

its a 'fit and forget' item.....around £70 ish.

i believe funster member 'roadrunner' has one for sale.
