I'm a newbie
Hi all
Excuse my ignorance but I'm new to all this.
In my recently acquired motorhome I have the Veetech solar display but have no idea what readings it shows means & what is good/bad, can anyone help?
The display shows:
I = 15.7 ampere
V = 13.5 volts
P = 211.9 watts
kWh = 23.773

Thanks in advance
Gary:Cool:

i dont know that controler but i would say....from the top......

I = charge or discharge current in amps...at 17.5amps probably the discharge rate, or its a very big solar panel array.

V = battery voltage

P = power being consumed in watts

kWh = ?......doesnt make much sense, it shows you are using 23773 watts per hour or it could be an accumulated power consumption over a period of time....possibly since the controller was installed.

If it was 15.7 amps discharge the voltage would be much lower.

As it's a solar display I would think it's showing solar panel performance,

13.5volts shows the battery voltage
15.7amps is the charge rate about 240 or 300 watts of panel.
211.9 watts is just VoltsxAmps
23.775Kwh is the power generated since installation or last reset (1850 ish ah)

15.7 amps at 13.5 volts IxV = 211.95 watts
You are getting a very good return from your solars which I would say are well over 200 watts unless working at max.

EDIT :ROFLMAO:

I know they are 100 watt solar panels, so it looks like they are performing well

Something is VERY wrong then
You don't get nearly 16 amps from 100 watts

NOT without making yourself a millionaire

Here you referred in the plural?
You won't get 15.7 amps from 180 watts. Your reading would indicate to me that you have 2 to 3 hundred. Is this a game :roflmto:
