Hi all. A friend has bought a 1974 Vdub with a 2 burner stove. It came with a Camping Gaz bottle connected to the stove. Is it ok to change the cylinder to 6kg propane after changing the regulator of course?
Will these stoves run on any gas with the correct regulator?

Should run OK with a 37mb regulator.
Make sure the bottle is in an enclosure sealed from the interior of the vehicle with a gas drop vent.
