My 09 vivaro is showing a red stop light on display and will not turn over. was ok yesterday but would not start today after plugging trailer board in.Unplugged it but still no joy. Battery fully charged. Any ideas.

try resetting by disconnecting the starter battery for 20 minutes

Something to do with immobiliser. Try pressing key Fob to lock and then unlock. Happened to me once.

can not find a dedicated brake fuse on fuse board any idea where it is

Just pull the main fuse on the board

I had issues with the ecu on mine and this used to reset it.

Turned out to be the battery although it had a volt reading of 12.6 and I had tried and the recovery man had tried to jump it from good battery pack and it still would not crank. however when the battery was swapped for another new battery all was good went first time,a cell must have been dead shorting when put under load. Now have a fight on my hand with the supplier of the Varta F17 battery .Battery mega store uk to stand by there 4yr warranty asthe battery was only purchased in september 2015.want me to get tests done at Kwik Fit or halfords to show a crank test something both of them say they don't do. Looks like a county court job

they accepted an rac report to replace one for me

Thanks but not a member. My breakdown is with insurer and did not cover unless 1/4 mile away from home.
