I’ve a Driveaway Air awning that works a treat, but I’m off soon to warmer climes and I’m thinking of getting either a Vango or Outwell Sun canopy to provide a bit of shade / cover to attach to my coachbuilt.

Has anyone used one of these designs of canopy? Is it any good? (I’m not expecting miracles - just a bit of shade and some rain protection).

I also see on eBay there is a “Universal Canopy” that looks more basic but might do also.

Any thoughts?

My mate bought one, the Outwell one. I was impressed with it. However at just over £200 I felt it was overpriced for what you get in terms of material etc. However having said that its light at 6kg and would therefore suit our needs. Good solution for a quick set up, keeping outdoor furniture and bikes dry. A good size. We have ordered one after finding that many sites have sold out. My advice would be to get the XL one with the full sides.
