I'm (reluctantly) looking at replacing the Continental VancoCamper tyres on my Burstner. They are 215/70 R15 CP 109R. I see Asda list this at a good price but their part number does not have the CP in it. Is the VancoCamper made in two forms? I expect to trade the van in in Oct/Nov this year but I'm seeing splits in the tread blocks and some crazing within the tread and they are 2014 dated so probably safest to change them out. I have a matching spare so want to retain the same tyre all round.

And now I'm finding load ratings of "109/107" for that tyre. What's all that about?

Mine are the 15" ones and have a 109 rating. Maybe the 16" are higher. I don't understand the 109/107 dual rating.

The 109 is the single wheel rating and the 107 is if the rear axle is a twin wheel each side of the rear axle.

CP means Camper afaik....

Hi, I had the very same tyre on mine and recently used Asda online and replaced mine with continental van contact eco tyres, very good fuel and wet weather ratings and cheaper than vanco's. I'm in France now and very pleased with them so far.

I was wanting to stick with the original type so it matched my unused spare. Tyres have to be same type on the same axle in France. I'd have to buy 5 if I changed. I also found a discount code for Kwik Fit and they will fit tyres at my home.

Agreed the van contact are more recent and better speced tyres. I shall only need these for maybe 5000 miles before my new van arrives (hopefully Oct/Nov)

Why not just phone Continental UK office and ask the helpful people there if the tyres you want to buy are the same as the one you have ?

I have just bought 4 Vanco campers from Kwik fit as they had the best price by far !

Yep just had mine done by KwikFit mobile. I was able to check the tyres they took off. At least one of them had several 1" long splits around the periphery of the tyre. Couldn't see them on the van as that side of the tyre wasn't visible so really glad I changed them before our trip to France. Shame I didn't decide to do it a few weeks earlier as KwikFit had a 15% off offer! But did find a 5% discount code which helped.
