Getting a van next month, it appears to be plated to 4200kg, but, I'm confused with the plate..

Im assuming that 1 is the front axle and 2 is the rear axle.. so 2.100 plus 2.400 is 4.500 not 4.200..

What am I missing?
I have no idea what the 5.850 is?

Thoughts

Yes 1 is front axle and 2 is back axle, 5850 is the train weight, total if towing a trailer.
if you max out on back axle you have 1800 for the front .

We had that on ours but a ton heavier, got ours up plated to 5500kg, but we had added rear air suspension

I don’t know why the manufacturers don’t use the sum of the two , other than it would take some clever packing to get exact weight and still have both axles right 👍

The total of the axle weights will usually be more than the MAM, to allow for some flexibility in loading things. The 5850kg is the maximum train weight, i.e. maximum weight of motorhome and trailer if towing.

What ya getting chuck?

Dave has already posted pictures elsewhere of his new Carthago

You will be thrown out of the NMC :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
Well as I don't read all the threads unless it was obviously about a new MH I likely wouldn't have seen it - can you point me to it please.

Oh well, that's a really, REALLY, obvious thread title about Shiftzz's new MH isn't it  As I don't have a 3 litre Fiat I didn't bother reading it and my crystal ball is foggy as I am at present . :giggle:
