That's the layout of just about every American 'van life' van. They don't appear to believe in bathrooms.

I'd rather set up an external toilet tent but I wouldn't have a van with that layout in the first place.

After years in the army toilets with no doors and communal thunder boxes in the field I now have a preference for not sharing my ablutions with others.
On one occasion we had posh thunder boxes with a hessian screen up to shoulder height. I was just getting comfortable and the doctor walked in and sat down on the next thunder box. She looked like Hot Lips from Mash. It was difficult to know were to look and it put me off my needs. She just grinned at me and got on with her needs and walked off.
