Eldiss Autoquest 195

Tents, Folding camper,Hired MoHo, now bought our own.
Evening all,

Can I pick some brains please, is anyone aware of any MH with end U shape lounge and front dinette with seat belts .

Eldiss autoquest 145 is one but struggling to find others. We are looking used for price, so new models wouldn't be accessible to us.

Overcab is fine also happy to convert lounge to bed.

Any pointers would be much appreciated.

Brian.

What size/weight/length?
Euramobil do some terrific vans with U shape lounge at the rear and front dinette, as do Dethleffs. Both offer in A and C class builds.
If you are after a U shape lounge and front dinette with seat belts, you would mostly be looking at tag (tandem) axles at the rear.

L shaped rather than U but I was quite taken with this

And is still my back up plan if the new vehicle doesn't arrive even though not my preferred choice of dealership.Dont know how old the layout is though to get you a used version.

Plus there are the Burstners Harmony 744 or 745?

Autotrail scout and the Apache 700. Come standard as 4 belts but you can have 6 belts as an option. HOWEVER 6 people will put you overloaded !! 😁

There are a number of over an motorhomes with rear lounge and a dinner with belts.
Most will he 6 berth so over 3.5t.

Our first van was an entry level, rear u shaped lounge front dinner and over cab bed.
Good family van but not for us as a couple.
Have a look at the rRoller team range or it’s predecessor CI motorhomes Carioca’s

We had a Hymer 644 with a rear lounge and the forward configuration pretty similar to what you are describing, there is a Niesmann Arto called 69 CGB that has a rear lounge and also seat belts in that area (6 belted seats).

The downside of any rear lounge is that you lose masses of height in the garage space, it is all swings and roundabouts but the twin lounge setup has a lot going for it.

3500 Kg is a pain maybe better to get one of the youngsters to upgrade their license?
