just realised my Carthago 143le insurance runs out on Friday. panic stations! checked with Comfort Ins. quoted circa £800. tried our local NFU branch £527. i don't think i'll get lower than that.

have settled on NFU at £505. with £250 excess. got fed up taking ages to ring around and get baffled by jargon. i left it a tad late to barter. still £500 cheaper than last years. i'm now going to lie down in a darkened room with a swift 'arf!
