Van door stay (1 Viewer)

The door on my Autocruise Gleneagle does not seem to have a method of holding open against the wind. It has a hydraulic stay across the top from the door to the van body. Am I missing something or does anyone have any suggestions. I had thought of a clothes peg on the stay but better ideas welcome

probably just needs a new stay.

it will be gas operated, not hydraulic, and the gas may have leaked out.

something like these offerings...you just need to find the correct length and fittings

Something then to put on the list of things to fix under dealer warranty .
