Van Aaken Smart box

I am going to VA today to have a Smart Box fitted. As they dont have a normal one in stock, they are fiting a box and tuning it to the engine. It will be interesting to see how much of an improvement is made to both BHP and MPG. got a good deal on it, less than 1/2 the normal cost. Will post details later.

I have often thought about having one fitted, as yet I have not made any enquiries.
Thought it best to let the vehicles warranty period expire before going ahead.

A downside may be that you will pay about £ 300 for the unit BUT like everyting in life you get what you pay for. If you want a but a few resistors go to maplins and pay 20p rather than £ 50 on ebay for the same thing being masqueraded as a "tuning device", if you want some magnets go to a DIY store, this is a very crude way of enhancing performance. If you want a high quality digital tuning device look at the website and make your own decision.

The product is manufactured in Holland to the highest quality specifications and was recently recommended in the Sunday Mirror by none less that Quentin Willson who is having a couple fitted to his diesel cars.

So check it out and call them or your local installer.
