Hi
We have just got a TALBOT EXPRESS RAMBLER AUTO SLEEPER 1990.
I don't have a manual ( I wish I had but I cannot get my hands on one ) I am wanting to drain the water heater but haven't got a clue where to start. Can anyone guide me.
Thanks
Glen

The Autosleepers owners club reckon they have a manual for a Rambler. They should be able to assist. (y)

Hi Glen
If you take the the front cover off you should be able to see the drain tap easier, its at the bottom of the heat exchanger and found at the back. Its a knurled brass tap about an inch long, just unscrew it a couple of turns and you should start to hear the water draining. Care should be taken whilst unscrewing the tap as they do tend to sieze and can quite easily damage the heater.

Good luck

Just received the manual from Autosleepers, They didn't have one for the 1990 model but had this one for a 1992 model. It is almost identical to my 1990 van.
I have now drained the water from the heater.
