V5

I am going to France this weekend in my new MH but have not yet received the V5. Any help, experience advise on this will be appreciated.

Take the new owners slip it you haven't received it by then, been abroad many times and never been asked to show my V5.

Thanks for this but as the van was brand new no new owners slip. If it does not come I will just go but knowing my luck will get stopped and asked for it

Take your receipt for the van with you

V5 just turned up in the post so panic over.

We were never asked for it on our trip recently.
And thinking about it all the years we have been going over the water in cars i don't ever remember being asked for it to be seen.
But always better to take.

Think it depends where you go , I was asked for it at several border crossing last year and the details recorded.
