Anyone been..worth a visit?

reason I ask is No 1 son is considering doing a Masters there (just finishes Uni degree course) next year which will mean frequent visits I guess with aid shipments lol

Wondering what its like for Aires/camping etc...and if it is a nice city in its own right...(we loved amsterdam last month)

Very good beer culture - we stayed in an Aire there and had a great night out

I lived and worked in Maastricht back in the late 80's for three years and thoroughly enjoyed the Dutch culture and people. Have great memories and still have a number of good friends there. Visited Utrecht a couple of times and recall it being a very fine city.

Sounds like a good opportunity to me Eddie .
