Summers are hot here (Arizona, USA) and the dash AC doesn't keep everyone comfortable. Is there any reason, other than fuel usage, not to run the generator while driving to use the overhead AC?

No reason at all. Almost all American RV's will have their generator mounted at the back and near the corner with the exhaust sticking out the back. Well mine has anyway. :ROFLMAO::Eeek:

no problem for us, as your in the USA, if you blow up because you have your gas on and your genny running, we will be fine over here your bits of RV wont get this far:Eeek:

we do often

While it may be cool in the cab with the dash air running, the back of the RV where Ezzie is can be much much warmer so we often run the genny and the roof air to keep her cool when it is a warm day.

Like the others our geny is mounted at the back corner and has an exhaust the goes out the rear side at an angle facing backwards.
