Not sure what I am more shocked by.....the fact that a local there offered an English couple help and advice - or the fact that you admitted you were English in North Wales and have not been hunted down like dogs and driven down south.

Maybe it has calmed over the years!

IIRC the chap that played Les Battersby in Corrie lives there. He lived down the road from a relative in Abergele.
