I am going to look at one tomorrow. I noticed it has a Fun sticker in the windscreen. Registration number NK15JZH. I was wondering if it had been owned by a current member and if so would they like to share anything I should be looking out for or be aware of when looking around it? Thank you in advance.

Few learnings on the same van (got ours last June):

  • check that the windscreen wiper clips haven’t scratched the windscreen (these clips hold the washer fluid tube in place) I’ve seen 2 vehicles that this had happened to
  • a known fault (design fault) is the way the radio continues to use power even when switched off. Many people have an cut out switch installed, worth seeing if this one already has one
  • we had an issue with the fridge door constantly alarming but i think that was a one off as it’s a common Dometic two fridge
  • Table can be stiff to move around and often just need some oil
  • hob on ours moves within the worktop, when you open the lid up and down you see it move around, no big deal
  • Check that the floor flaps are level within their recessed holes, ours were quite uneven

Ps: I’m being picky as these vans are simply so much van for their size, i think you’ll be impressed

Thank you. I will watch out for those. I had read in another thread about the radio power supply. Definetly worth looking at the windscreen for scratches. Not cheap to replace I expect.
