I'm sure Jim will be very pleased that you have replied as he is in hospital with his very poorly daughter may not get back right away, I Bumped it up because as he has no marshals he will need 2 sets of marshals so someone else could come forward as well

Essentially you welcome people as they arrive. Help them pitch 6m from their neighbours and ensure they know where the facilities are etc. Most of the work will be done on the Thursday as 95% will arrive that day. The rest will dribble in on Friday afternoon. The Thursday is hard work but it’s rewarding and you get to meet a lot of Funsters yy.

Thank you Carol. Yes me and Sian are at the Oxford CAC site but we’re like ships in the night as one of us is always with Katie at the hospital the other at the van with Jazz.

We’re hoping she may be out on Monday. Fingers crossed.

Jim,

If I can help, by being some sort of Gopher, I would be very happy to do so.

However, having never been to a rally or show before, I do not have a clue of which way is up (or down) so would rather not be designated as a Marshal at this show! However, I can arrive at the show ground at any designated time required as I will be on my own for this event, so can leave home whenever I like.

If not, as I indicated above I am happy to pair up with you (I will be a singleton too) but have never done the duty before so will have to act under somebody’s direction. Let me know if you want me to help.

Hi Jim Sodds law just struck. Just got a call from the hospital they have a cancelled appointment for me on the 5th so I won’t be able to steward after all
