Slight panic when we thought Cambridge rock is the same weekend, but luckily Cambridge Rock is the weekend after................phew, that was close !! So it's Upton Blues, drive home on the Monday and drive back to Cambridge on the Friday. Unless we can book a week off from the babysitting? then we could tour down South in between...............Hmmmm.

UPDATE: Please note that each of the meets & rallies us Wombles organise are different in what can be provided but we will always do our best for Funsters & RVOC members. All the information will be on each thread so please have a read through so you know what to expect. Motorhome meets & rallies at events & festivals do seem to be becoming popular & would encourage other members to give organising one a go or maybe try marshalling to gain experience.

This year we were kindly given first dibs for Fun on a small field by the Festival Chairman on our arrival to work as volunteers for Upton Blues but next year as we may have so many more that field is too small so we hope to be pitched all together in the much larger flatter field that we had for Sunshine Festival. However as Upton Festival is run by volunteers & the profits go back into the local community it is unlikely that a cordoned off area will be possible as barriers are an additional cost & once the main camping field is full others will join us. No ticket discounts are available as again this is run to raise money for their local area. The proposed field is right next to the main camping field & closer to the Marina but further from the town so would suggest that anyone that needs to be really close to the town or toilets & showers arrives as gates open to get pitched in the main camping field rather than our Meet area - if you arrive late then our camping area will be much closer than being at the back of the main field. If you want to be in the Meet area but may need assistance with topping up with water or anything else then please PM (Private Message) us or post a message on this thread.

Please watch this thread to see all updates - hope to have a group meal at the Flava Indian Restaurant again as they did an excellent job during the Sunshine Meet but we might need two sittings if it's popular!
