I am going through the process of uprating to 3850kg gross. As part of this exercise I have to go from 215/70 R15 109 to 225/70 R 15 112 on the rear axle. I would have preferred to have stuck with Continental camper tyres, but they appear to be like hens teeth in this size, as every supplier has no stock and are unable to supply to order. As a result, having spent hours on the phone, I have opted for Michelin Agilis campers, which are available and will be fitted tomorrow. There are loads of van spec tyres available but I have doubts about running them permanently under full load. Has anyone else had this problem? I will have two 215/70 R 15 109 tyres for sale tomorrow if anyone is interested. They have done less than 1000 miles and the date of manufacture is 01 17 £85 each.

a good mate of mine has been a tyre fitter for years reckons those camper tyres are a waste of money. he reckons a good mid range van tyre are just as good. the side walls on most motorhome tyres are perished before the tread is half worn out.

So, depends on your anticipated annual mileage. I have been using Michelin Agilis CP for 6 years because I wear them out with my regular mileage. I have been very happy with them.
