Uplating in Spain

Have any of my fellow Spanish residents managed to uplate a Spanish registered moho to accommodate extra weight, if so is there a company that can be recommended or advise of the process please?

No heard of any, might be a good idea to contact Facebook group Motorhoming Spain or Other Spanish Motorhoming groups to broaden your search...
Generally 3.5 Ton is the max....Driving license restrictions may also be a factor...well in my case....

My old Spanish van was plated at 3850, but the new one is 3500, but I could do with 3850 really otherwise will have to leave the wife behind lol

license wise Im ok as I carried my UK rights over when swapping it a few years back

There was someone a few years back who did it down estepona way. paper exercise costing 131€ if i remember correctly? @Billy123 or Billy321 seems to ring a bell?

Thanks, I hope it is a simple paper exercise but this is Spain so not got my hopes up too much lol

Hi.
Check out the Portugues lads, i am sure one has posted on this not long ago I think that a Porty car licence covers you up to 4 plus a bit Ton. Maybe Spain as well ?. Just handed my UK one over Monday 28/03/22. So only have a receipt until the Porty one lands.
