Hi guys any recommendations for getting upholstery on my Hymer B544 recovered, and what sort of price am I looking at? Thanks 😊

Let us know how you get on with re upholstering. Our 544 has beige seat covers that stain with water splashes or anything they touch, have steam cleaned to no avail, but some of the cushions have wooden inserts and ‘ feet ‘ that click into holes - was not sure re upholstery possible ( at affordable price anyway ) tia

Hi they are closed at the moment but if you look on their website there's a video where they redo a hymer and it looks fantastic!! Dependant on price may have to delay it for a year .

I have personal experience. They did my Hymer in leather - a superb job.

We used CareAvan in Birmingham. A good friendly company to work with and a lovely job at a good price. I think several Funsters have used them. The cost will very much depend on what you have done (obviously), some vans have lots of trim and facings which can all add up.

I would also suggest checking with a local upholsterers. I got prices from both Careavan and Regal when I had my MH reupholstered, a local upholsterer came in a bit cheaper, had a huge selection of cloth to choose from, and as he was local he picked everything up and delivered it all back the following week, so no requirement to drive to them and stay over.

Hi everyone. Just had an upholsterer in at work and he does motorhomes and caravans as well. MLG upholstery.co.uk. I have his telephone number if you require it but not sure of the price. I think he lives in Middlesbrough. He is also on Facebook. Maggie

We used Regal Furnishings, an excellent job in part-leather which is still immaculate after several years. Completed the work in less than a day - stayed overnight on site which also gave us the opportunity to decide on fabrics etc so they could start at 8.00am.

Looked at other upholsterers but it was the "done in a day" that decided it for us. Never regretted the extra cost, think it was around £2200 but that included new seat squabs (some upholsterers use the originals) plus new curtains, cushions etc.
