I used Van Weight Engineering last month for a weight up-plate. They were quick and accurate. Plate arrived quickly. £150.

Not heard from DVLA yet, they maybe a bit behind due to Covid. No worries so far...

I used them too, £150 and paperwork back within 2 days over Easter, waiting for DVLA now but only 4 weeks since I sent it off to them

I used Van Weight for down plating. They were very quick, unfortunately the company that supplies the new plate are not. Still waiting after 5 weeks for it plus the same with the DVLA. Cost was £120

I also used Van Weight, fast, efficient, friendly.
However I am still waiting for my V5C to be returned from DVLA. I have had multiple "discussions" with DVLA and having complained three times I emailed the Chief Exec. Julie Lennard and told her what a shower they are and as Chief Exec. she should be thoroughly ashamed.
I reiceved an email back from some Minion saying the matter wil be looked at but to expect another 10day wait.
It's my belief none of this crew ever worked in the private sector. In my company they would have been out of the door in a week.

I also got my new plate after a couple of days. As suggested, call Dee,, he is very helpful.
I have rung a couple of times with no answer and I have left messages without a reply. I will try again and try and gee things up.

After your post I emailed them and got a prompt reply. He reckons that my messages didn't show up on their answerphone but nevertheless all is sorted now as he is sending me a plate.

My plate arrived within a few days. I sent the V5 to DVLA on 15 April 2021, recorded delivery. Going by others' experience on here, I don't think it will be processed for a couple of months.
