We own and love our AT Tracker 27 months old and superb, the time has come to upgrade, new granddaughter means an extra belted seat needed, also recently retired and looking to tour 2-4 months so we need more space ideally a garage.

We are rather taken by the Hi-line AT Mowhawk with half dinette, not many dealers up hereabouts to go and kick tyres of other manufacturers, anyone have any other suggestions. A bed above the cab would lessen disruption when she needs to be asleep but open to guidance/suggestions.

I do like Rapido's but its a long trek to nearest dealer for servicing and should warranty work be needed.

This could be our final fling so needs careful thought, thanks in advance for any input, :thumb::thumb::thumb:

be careful on the garage idea as some of us with larger rear storage areas cannot put hardly anything in them due to the leverage effect they have on the rear axle.
and dont trust the dealers or manufacturers on payload quotes get the van you may potentially purchase weighed on a weigh bridge and work the payload out for yourself using the weight ticket and the plate on the van.

If your happy with the tracker, take a look at the Apache 700.
Dinette with rear u lounge, as someone who takes grandkids away a lot its a good layout to give you space and roomy when there are just 2 of you.
No garage but the later versions now have larger lockers at the rear giving quite a bit of storage space....:thumb:

Nice range of family overcabs with garages and touring goodies like big water tanks and good winterisation.:thumb:

I know you are thinking of overcab coachbuilt but have a look at A class vans. We have just changed to one and wished we had looked at one earlier. The feeling of extra space is incredible and if you are looking to have extended trips you may well feel the benefit

OH is finding making up the bed a chore hence fixed bed, transverse seems the way to go to free up more lounging area.
