Can anyone help me please?

We have used our Zehnder Digital Satellite Receiver for a year or two now, and read that a software update is available from the Zehnder web site, which would inproove its perfermance, so I downloaded it!

All was going well, until I came to transfer the data, via the RS232 cable.

The cable is tested and is approved, by the upgrade file, but then an error message appears stating "transfer of data failed"......go back and try again, or cancel.

So far I have:

1. Closed the programme and restarted.

2. Closed down the laptop and rebooted.

3. Checked all files within the download, and have not found anything that may be out of order.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanking all in advance.

Software Download

We have a Camos with a ZX68 bought about 18 months ago. I also looked at upgrading and attempted a couple of times via satellite. This dropped out on both occasions with "Download failure" However when I checked I found I had Version 2.8 and Version 2.8 was the up- to- date version ( according to the download message). It asked if I wished to replace! So I suggest you check the version you have on the receiver and the version with which you are attempting to replace it. :party2:
