There was quite a thread a while ago after a road was closed in North East England after Police stopped a motorhome.
The case has just gone to court and here is a report from Middlesbrough Crown Court. It makes interesting reading and I can now understand why this was such a serious case. The man seems to be a bit of a nutter.

Sounds like a loner with a strange hobby that could easily have got out of control but maybe he never grew out of the schoolboy fascination with making bangs I think I lost interest when I became more interested in girls!!
