Upcoming Lakes and Scotland tour.

Hi Y’all,
A bit of time planning our upcoming six weeks tour of the Lakes and Scotland, mid March, thankfully all done now. We aim to follow our tour as on the map, from home in Mid Wales to North Wales for a few nights. Then to Keswick and lakes, over the border and on up - some on sites and some wilding on a clockwise detection.
We are really looking forward to a nice break and being away in MoHo.
May see some Funsters on the way - give us a wave.

Looks like a nice tour. Enjoy Dumf and Gall (my old stamping ground). Some tips: Take care when negotiating around Loch Lomond side, the road starts off wide enough but gets quite narrow in parts - be ready to give way to large lorries. The east side of the Mull of Kintyre can be an experience too with single track roads allied to sharp corners with gradients (think 1st or 2nd gear). If you are stopping at Machrihanish camp site, and using the excellent toilet and shower facilities, remember to double lock the door.......otherwise you might get be subject to a westerly exposure . West side of Mull of Kintyre road is fine. Enjoy your adventures.

Take a detour over the cairngorms', you wont regret it.

Perth to Braemar to Tominoul to Grantown to Inverness

Looks great and your in my area also nice pics you did. It’s a lovely place up here narrow roads watch out for hire vans coming the other way on narrow roads. They won’t have full awareness. Plenty of smashed van mirrors up here on the side of the roads. Enjoy yourself. It’s nice up here

I know nothing about camp site but but lots about free spots ---
Full service's at Drumadrochit car park on Loch Ness.
You can stay the night in Lizzy's car park at Balmoral --- for free when she's not in.

Full services at Tarbet on Loch Lomond. Do not use the A82 above Tarbet if you value your wing mirrors - Dont ask me how I know
