I went to a classic car auction yesterday - it was in a fairly rural part of Yorkshire, whilst classic cars are the main focus, they did put through a few other vehicles on behalf of regular customers, mostly modern cars.

Anyway - one such "oddity" was a 1993 Pilote Galaxy. Guided at £8k-£10k, it didn't attract any bids at all, despite start price dropping to £6k. Usually unsold lots are open to offers after the auction, before they enter the next auction in around a month's time. I'd suspect £6k was below reserve, but if anyone is interested it could be worth a look and an offer.

Note that I gave it scant attention - it was chucking it down with rain at the time and it was locked - so I can't vouch for condition.

We got the car we went for :)

Quite old to be paying 8 to 10k for (IMO)
Worth 6k if you want one like that (y)

There's a good new TV series with these auctioneers on Sky TV just now called "Bangers & Cash".
Its on Sky Yesterday channel on Thursday @8pm, no flannel, no American style huffs & fake tantrums, just good honest fly on the wall observation.

Robert.

On the downside, you may see my ugly mug on a future episode.

Have to go and look at that place we are moving to Sleights near Whitby next month looks just my sort of day out interesting and cheap (provided you keep your hands in your pockets!!!)

We’ve just bought a Pilote Galaxy 1998 but looked at a smaller one like this before ... they’re a nice little van and this one looks Good for its age!! Low mileage too ... they do seem to be keeping their value on eBay and online selling sites elsewhere ...

Looks in good condition and seems to be well looked after with all the paperwork etc (y)
