Went to lower our Autosat dish last night and display said 'moto no turn' immediate thought was that a skylight had been left open,it's happened before !
however instead of rotating then closing the dish had gone as far back as it could with the LNB arm sticking straight up! On further investigation I found I can rotate the dish but not close it so there must be a problem with the raise/lower motor.
So problem is,to get back home do I risk it as it is ,probably not! or take the two bolts out and remove the dish and LNB arm then @dave newell lvs can have a look at it

Remove power, slacken the two bolts (mind it doesn't drop whilst doing so), lower it into park position, tighten bolts. Do make sure the system power is disconnected before you do this because the up/down motor may power up & attempt to lower the already lowered dish.
