Ukraine travel? (1 Viewer)

Off to Poland end of month and if all goes well may try to go to Romania.It seems easier to cut through Ukraine to get there.Is it safe to go there and have read you need an "international driving licence" ?

Can't help with the practicalities of motor homing in the Ukraine, but was in Kyiv in early March this year including Maydan Square. It has made us determined to go back with our motorhome as although there are military and police around public places it didn't feel edgy at all.
Very much enjoyed our short stay in Kyiv and found the people once over their reservations about foreigners welcoming and open.

just watch Charley Boorman and Ewen McGregor long way round trying to get into Ukraine. Only trouble is in the East, Luhansk, Donetsk and the surrounding areas are no go zones.
