Sorry but our bugs have not cleared up enough to spend time in a motorhome or near decent healthy people. I won't give the details (you really don't want the details) but we won't be able to make it at all.
So, enjoy yourselves, make the most of the extra space, we'll try Peterborough.

Sorry to hear that, hope you both get back on your feet soon.
They did not no what hit them as look like everyone had the same idea of early start.

Just got home, and ,as usual, have had a great time. The entertainment was brilliant, and I danced my socks off !!!!!

Just been to Newark Show as day visitors and what a dead loss, waste of time and £14. I have to say that the number of traders in attendance were fewer and even worse than last year in terms of selling motorhome related goods.:( We were there for a little over an hour.

Spoke to one dealer who we know very well, and they had sold seven vans, which he said had more than covered their overhead, compared with pitch fees at venues such as Peterborough or Lincoln. Whilst I appreciate the Newark Showground people provide entertainment for the campers in the evening, and provide a bus service into Newark, surely it can only be a matter of time before they pull the plug on the Spring Show at Newark and instead concentrate on providing a better quality single show in the Autumn.

Agree about the quality of the show but entertainment was great on Friday & Saturday and the site staff were brilliant when I asked about watching the rugby (wish I hadn't of bothered lol) they sorted out a tv and even moved it to another building when the Line Dancing was due to start. Overall a good weekends entertainment but not really a good show.

Huge thank you to Karl C and the other funsters that helped me escape from the mud trap I had stupidly managed to bury the front end of the Motorhome in. Without their help I would of been there until August when it might have dried out I suspect, would of had a great view of the county show mind you. Once again many thanks to you all.

Hi all, A good show, not the trade stalls though. Excellent acts, great company as always. Only dissapointment for us was that we got boged in and had to be towed off.

Great weekend spent with very nice people. The new organisers are breaking their backs to get this venue back on its feet and maybe a losing battle but good luck to them.

@Jim . brilliant weekend show itself was very small but the entertainment was fantastic . Only downside was having to que upto an hour and half before venue opened for entertainment to ensure we actually were able to get in and get a decent seat .

Some old photos of our first Funster rally in Newark 2013 have just popped up on my facebook page. I think you were (comparatively) lucky with the weather this year. Loads of vans had to be towed out, including ourselves.
