Whilst looking for a Nuevo referred to in another thread I stumbled upon this ... I had to take a second look as I thought it was an old model but no ... it's a 2018 one ... who the hell designed it ... it is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ugly!!

We watched someone with one of these is Spain. Ok having a back door but where do you sit when you have all the bikes, awning and everything else in the back. Suppose you have to make a bed up in the front. Looks like you would struggle with a bike rack.

It’s the boxy overcab bed that spoils it isn’t it? I won’t be letting my sleek and sexy Auto-Sleepers Broadway (like the one below) mate with one!

Very ugly! It isn't helped by the way its painted. The grey panels make it look even more boxy.

Couldn’t disagree more and I’m disappointed there isn’t a thumbs down button.

We love our Nuevo and suits our needs down to the ground. That design has been around for about 4 years now I think but it is mainly internal layout that drove us towards it. I really do think it is a little stunner (5.7m) with the trees around it instead of a car park.

Didn’t somebody else post about how much MHs were going up in the last year ? Ours cost 10k less last year.

Not everyone travels with bikes and awnings.

That Nuevo isn’t too bad, I see one regularly when we visit our Daughter in Suffolk and it looks ok.
I think the earlier model is a bit weird though, looks like an ice cream van...

The Nuevo looks like somebody nicked the front bulbous bit from someone else's van. I suppose Autosleeper did just that. It's all plastic tupperware. Whooops, I didn't say that, someone else did. Musn't offend anyone. But I know what she meant.

Looks like someone has glued a giant bread bin onto the cab roof. :(

It would be great for kayaks though. If there is a rear bed it would just go over the top of the kayaks. When we had our very first self-built motorhome we left the back door in just so we could slide the kayaks inside. Once went to the south of France with 8 people and 6 kayaks :)

I had what I thought was one of the ugliest Volvo estates ever produced (1978, I think). One with extended bumpers but very practical and a delight to drive. It amused me at the time to see it advertised in the Sunday colour supplements with the caption “Never has a Volvo been so beautiful”.

I can't talk. We had a 58 Beetle, followed by a gorgeous 59 yellow and white Anglia, a 62 beetle, and a 74 avocado Allegro. Taste or whot?

Agree with @Yorick It's not good! Not even low profile at front. I wonder what the mpg will be with that front ?

26.2mpg average over 6500 miles. Today’s trip of 90 miles with 40 of that on the M6/A74(M) got 29.6mpg

I don’t understand threads like this, I’m sure there are members on this forum who own this van and are very happy with it, each to their own, live and let live etc, etc

I think Minxy Girl has raised a good point, it does look a bit outdated with most of the other motorhome manufacturers now producing lowline models.

I don't like it either but as others have said everyone has their own ideas. I notice a lot of vans now have light coloured upholstery which doesn't seem practical to me.
Our Swift Firebrand (horrible name) which was made for Barrons is now 10 years old. We look around occasionally to see if ther's anything newer we'd like but there never is. I'm glad about this really as I like ours - its cosy in the winter, light and airy for the summer and practical.
