I originally bought the Tyrepal TPMS when I was towing a trailer with a car on to Spain as I thought it would be useful.
I stopped using the trailer 3 years ago but have had the system on the van a couple of times but kept taking it off as they can leak a bit and you obviously have to remove them to put air in.
Now taken them off for good and will put them up for sale just in case anyone fancies trying them.
They don’t work well with rubber valves as they are awkward to get on tight enough and I believe that Tyrepal recommends steel valves. It’s the TC 215 one with 6 sensers although one might be faulty.

I haven't found any leak problems with steel valve stems. I no longer use the one on the spare wheel though as it is on a bracket in the garage with the valve to the wall so inaccessible.

Have you replaced the VERY small 'O' rings in the tyre pal sensor? I always carry a few of these and replace every couple or so times they are removed.
Never had any issues in 5 years they been fitted.

Give me a shout when you're putting it on Classifieds as could be interested.

Had ours fitted for over two years, one sensor battery went flat so I changed all 4 at the same time. Removed the sensors (and wheel trims) at the last service to ensure the garage checked the tyre pressures. I told them what I was running the van tyres at, which were correct when I put the sensors back on.👍

Just got the van back from service/MOT - I removed the sensors for cleaning and will change the batteries and the little o-rings before I put them back on as I suspect one is a little bit leaky.
