Think they mean one the same ones as those supplied with the Solar monitor - all the sensors use button cell batteries which are cheap & easy to replace.

There were two sizes of sensors. They did a small sensor for a while which takes a 1225 cell and the larger more common sensor which takes a 1632 cell.

As Two on Tour posted - there are different ones depending on when you bought your set so wouldn't like to guess. Good to have spares but we have rarely had to replace any even after several years - we don't do that many miles a year though.
