As above i remove a tyre pal sensor and cut tie wraps to find the batteries i bought in anticipation of such a looked forward to job are totaly the wrong size. Locally i cant find any the correct size (except Halfrawds at almost 4 times the price. So they almost have the same parameters. But their nominal capacity is different. CR1632 is 140 mAh, while CR2032 is 225 mAh. Additionally, their dimension and weight are not similar, so they are not interchangeable sometimes but does it fit the tyrepal sensor?

Electrically they'll be fine, they are still 3 volts. Having a higher capacity is fine. CR1632 is 16mm diameter and 3.2mm thick. A CR2032 will be 20mm wide, so probably won't fit.

Sorry to hijack your post but does anyone have an alternative supplier of the TyrePal rubber boots (seal)? They want something like £12 for a set.

thanks i ordered Duracells hoping i dont have to do the job as often. I have even cleaned the brake dust off wheels and hubcaps, not a job to be repeated too often.

Where did you get £12 from.?
They are 50p for 4 plus £3 postage.
I order 4 and ended up with 16 didn't realise it was for 4, also got some lock nuts to hold my valve extenders on, so not too bad

That was the price they quoted me when I asked in an email. I will have to check with them again, thanks.

Batteries come and fitted, but, front nearside not woken up. others work perfect. even put second new battery in just in case. (the spare will have to wait for a new battery)
do they need to be "paired" woken up or whatever? last time i just changed batteries

It can take several minutes.

I get all my batteries from The Small Battery Company. Online search will find it. I got my replacement Tyrepal batteries last week. Not fitted them yet.

If you give then a tap on the ground before fitting that normally wakes them up.
well ive given it a tap waited 5 mins (several 5 mins) and 2 new batteries and its not woken up yet. Is it dead?
Anybody with a spare? before i bought a single one for £30 (for spare under van) id concidered another complete set for £90, wish i had now.

Well mines catatonic sleep wise.
not even a 10 mile drive has woken it up.
thought id fill up ready for weekend away and had to que for fuel none available at sainsburys. Garage BP that had some only half pumps working and finding it difficult to get deliveries.

Did someone on here, fairly recently, not have a duff sensor and when they got in touch with Tyrepal they were told to return it for recalibration or replacement. !!
