tyre sealant repair kits

Hi , has anyone used these , thinking of going to Spain in April and no room for a spare so might take a couple of kits with me just in case , spare would take a big chunk of payload hence kits , van is Pilote Evidence 3500kg any advice would be grateful . Paul.

Puncture safe do a decent kit.
I used it in our tyres for some years while we had no spare or ability to carry one.
You can either pre insert it in tyres ( which we did) or get the emergency repair kit. It is significantly better than the supplied goo. And despite what others may say does Not render your tyre unrepairable.
Nothing however will cover tyre wall damage.

I've carried a kit with an inflation can in my m/h and on the m/bike for years and never had to use them.
I've never read of anyone using one successfully but guess they must work unless the puncture is in the sidewall.

The puncture safe kit works well. Unlike the supplied goo. Sidewall different problem.

A pal had previously put goo in a tubed m/bike tyre but the tyre still deflated due to a nail in the centre of the tread when at a classic m/bike camp.

I know we all have different views on this but personally would not go anywhere without a spare and if necessary would sacrifice payload elsewhere.
