Hi. I'm pretty confident with replacing bike tyres, except I have never tried it on an ebike. From what I have read online it can be a bit tricky. Is there an idiots guide out there for me to follow or should I just put it in a bike shop? TIA

Can't see it being too difficult.
Remove the tyre with the wheel in place then remove any cable clips/ties etc, slacken the axle nuts and remove the wheel just enough to release the tyre from the side of the wheel.
Reverse procedure to refit.

No need to disconnect motor etc

Hi

Same tyres and same rims as a "proper bike" so it's only the motor that's different, some have a connector for removing the wheel others are just on wire and you have to be a bit careful with it.

Just take a couple of pictures on your mobile phone of the setup so you can refer back to them if you get stuck and if you haven't bought the tyres yet, I can recommend Schwalbe Marathons. Fitted them to our two bikes and not had a puncture this year and we green lane a lot (y)
