My Hymer Excis came factory fitted with 225/75 R16 116 Agilis Camping. I need to replace the front two, putting the rears to the front. Oddly, I have found that I can get a pair of these tyres but load rated 118, cheaper than the 116 load rated ones. Is there any reason why I should not do this?

Normally they are rated 116/118 the 118 is the single wheel rating & the 116 for twin rear wheels.
116 is 1250kg, 118 1320kg, either are fine. The Exsis rear axle is only 2000kg unless you have fitted air then it will be 2240kg

Thanks. Yes, the van is the bog standard 3500kg Ducato base. Not up plated or suspension modded. COC simply states 225/75 R16 116. ATS are offering Agilis Camping (I know you don't like them but ok in my experience) 116Q at £179.99 and 118R at £164.99 and I can get a discount off both prices.
I speculate whether the higher rating will be even stiffer sidewalls and harder ride. Can't see any risk in mixing them in pairs but thought I'd ask.
