Not yet but want to avoid. Got these tyres on my new to me MH. They are TOYO H09’s...no me neither. I noticed that they had 64.5 psi on the rears and I’m just touching 2200 KG. On my last MH I had Michelin’s and they had a max psi stamped on them of 80psi. These ones don’t say anything about max psi. Am I OK to put 76 psi in them ?

I am no mechanic but I think at that pressure you need metal valves, and why do you want the tyres so hard , surely that will make a hard ride.

Go onto Tyresafe website and enter all the details and you will have the answer.

Off the top of my head I would guess all van type tyres can be inflated to 80psi.

I have my second set of ToyoH09 which are all-weather so no swapping for seasons.

Geoff

Right scrub all that.....just found max 70psi On tyre after putting me bins on....gonna let them back down to 68.5.

Toyo is a good Brand this should help you with pressure
<Broken link removed>
Agreed Toyo do some great products and are sold by outlets such as Demon Tweeks, as you say the OP needs to check out the specification and those valves.

Went into Tyresafe....head still aching ....reckon 68.5 will be about right...

Trying to find tyre age now....there doesn’t seem to be a 4digit DOT number ☹️

We used to have Toyo H09 all round 225x70x15 but I always thought the 65 was a maximum which I think was confirmed when I contacted Toyo. We never went above 65.
Better check to be sure

We also struggled to understand the dates. I think made in Japan it is shown a little differently.

Struth...that’s what they were...I took them up to 76psi and then down to 68.5....will put them down to 65 psi ....although mine are 215/75 R16C....teach me to fiddle.....they just looked a bit flat that was all. Thanks for that.

Inside wall not inside of the tyre 👍
Well they might as well put it inside the tyre as put it on inside wall....I’m not crawling about a under the MH to find it....I’m sure it must be on the outside wall....just not DOT as they’re Japanese....I know they are inscrutable but surely.....

I may be wrong but I think all tyres sold in the EU must have a date stamp, have you checked every tyre, you may find it on the outside of one.

No only checked one tyre.....I’ll summon up the energy tomorrow to go round the other side of the MH....it’s very hot in France and that side was in the sun...
