Before your next big trip,
You will see advice anywhere 5 to 7 yr was 8, camper tyres are intended to be better suited to sitting around. If they are specific camper tyres. Your piece of string.

I checked Continental's web site and they say 10 years, which is when I changed mine, including the spare, which had never been on the road.

When you replace them check the age of the new ones before fitting. then use wheel covers to protect from uv.

When I researched replacement age on the Agilis CP tyres with Michelin I was advised to replace when 10 years old. Some will replace earlier.

It depends on use if driven regularly i.e they are probably OK for 7 or 8 years providing the both sides of the walls on each tyre are inspected regularly. Regular driving keeps the tyres supple.
If the van is left standing for weeks at a time best to change them at 5 years.

Mine are 3 years old but down to 4/4.5mm so will be changing before the next big trip. Any excuse to get rig of the crap Michelin camping tyres.

And out of interest Lenny, what will you be changing to?

We should always pay close attention to our tyres but at 7 years you may need to check them more regularly for cracking. As they are Continental, rather than Michelin they’ll probably be alright for another year or two.
Continentals recommendation to me was to pay more close attention to them from 5 to 10 years.
Being a life long motorcycle rider I would replace them now and go for these.

Probably winter tyres not sure which yet, something that has some grip. Fed up with the van shaking to bits with traction control that keeps cutting in.

Make sure your winter tyres are for all year round use some aren't.
On my last AWD car I had a set of winter tyres you where not suppose to use above 10 degrees (I think)
Very grippy and more so as the weather warmed up but boy did they wear fast??

And forgot to mention they are rotational luckily there is a little arrow on them for me?

You can drive with them on the wrong side ?
But in snow or mud the bards on the flat sections would not grip.
I had never though about the spare wheel.
I only bought four rims and tyres.
The all year round ones mite be different but will not last as long due to been of a softer rubber compound.
But on a motorhome would not be a big problem due to lower mileage.

FInally got around to checking my spare prior to three weeks in France coming up soon ... dated 3003.

Bugger.
