hi all. for 17 of years we had a narrowboat and loved it although felt a tad constrained in the canal network. The boss mused about a motorhome but muggins reminded her of the nice hotels and foreign travel, etc. So, partly because of work we gave up the boat and moved to an annual long hall trip interspersed with the occasional UK one. But with retirement we needed something which would be both more economical and adventurous. By chance we visited a local dealer and wham bam it was fate and we fell in love with a Kemerton - bought it and since October have been away for part of each month! Superb. The three of us (the dog and us) love it.

We had a choice to make between a MoHo and a narrow boat and unless you are a liveaboard and can move around you only ever see one stretch of canal in your two week holiday so that's why were here, loads of roads going to loads of different places every time out.

We sold it a number of years ago with lots of regrets but some relief at the increased maintenance bills which ended!
