I'm a newbie
Hi Everyone, we have just purchased our first Motor home and managed a few trips before being locked down. We have a chausson Best of 510 on a fiat chassis. Does anyone know if i can fit two leisure batteries under the passenger seat please, as when wild camping we need extra power for the awfull electric bed that has a mind of its own!. We have a 100 watt solar panel for charging. Thanks.

Is there room for two batteries under the seat? If there is then I don’t see why not, just make sure your battery charger can cope with two batteries.

In an ideal world both batteries should be same age and capacity,

There is a way to reprogamme the electric bed if it’s a project 2000one with a key to turn it on and then an up and down button.

there is a hidden button in between the up and down buttons.

google search or a search in this site should give you the way to use it.

yep they have a mind of their own, think its about having to touch the micro switch at the top of the up movement.

I think project 2000 refers to the number of times you have use it before giving up!!
