This year was our first ever Meet run by ourselves so it was a 'suck it and see'.
Next year's ideas are beginning to flow and will include....
Mr & Mrs.....give us that clock back, Play Your Cards Right (you get nowt for a pair in this game), ladies and fellas fishing comp, Treasure hunt for the Funsters Ball, Bingo with a difference, Race Night (sorry, no caravans this time, they were all mashed up this year), Hawaiian Evening (prize for best grass skirt on a fella) and some daytime fun. Hopefully have a Taxi service to take folk to and from the railway station and a drop off service to the local lake.
Site swimming pool will be open.
The site has 20 EHU and space for 50 plus in total, including the very biggest RV's.
Meet will be advertised later in the year. Those who attended this year will get a personal PM.
Rates for next year have been set at 15 with EHU and 12E without.
Dates will be 8th September to 25th September.
Bookings either side of these dates will be as per normal site rates.
Watch this space!

I watched the clever fish swimming around in the "Santuary" area where no fishing is allowed and sticking a fin up to the blokes dangling worms over on the other side of the lake...

Didn't see anyone actually catch a fish but was told several times about one that did get caught... apparently is was two metres long and weighed 40 kilos.

Hi Jean & Graham thanks for the very warm welcome to Twin Lakes great site. Our thanks to Gary the site owner so easy going gave our friends à lift to the supermarket and us to the station.
We have now moved over to the med as the weather looks better here for the last few days.

Have a brilliant time you two. It is cool and miserable in Normandy so you are in the right place. Home on Ferry tomorrow.

Don't bother - cold and miserable here in Hampshire as well
Typically a heatwave in Valencia since we left.
